    City launches Dental Health Bus on WHAPEE caravan 2nd Anniversary

    PANABO CITY, Davao del Norte – Mayor James G. Gamao led the Inaugural Blessing of the donated Dental Health Bus by the Department of Health (DOH) during the 2nd Founding Anniversary of the WHAPEE caravan on February 21, 2017 at Barangay Tagpore.
    The donation of the Dental Health Bus was facilitated by the office of the 2nd District Representative Congressman Antonio Floirendo, Jr. through the City Health Office (CHO).
    Mayor Gamao said that the bus will be used during every WHAPEE (Welfare, Health, Agriculture, Peace and Order, Education and Employment) caravan and on special activities in the city.
    “This will provide dental services to Panaboans especially those who live in far flung areas and other places”, he added.
    The mobile bus is equipped with two dental chairs, compressor, and lavatory and with complete power equipment to cater more patients on tooth extraction and oral examination which is free of charge that includes medicines.
    Among the free services that the WHAPEE caravan delivers include: hair cut sponsored by Councilors Emmanuel Pamisaran, Dizon Namuag and PNP Panabo; I.D. lamination by Councilor Wahid Ranain; Manicure by Councilor Raquel Geraldo, vegetable seedlings, fertilizer and animal vaccination from City Agriculture Office; PESO also provided job matching while CCRO caters queries on birth, marriage and death certificates and COMELEC office distributed voters identification cards.
    Councilors Emmanuel Pamisaran and Flopone Royle Catalan and Barangay Captain Shirley Magallen were also present during the Inauguration of the Dental Health Bus.

    By SEA, Panabo City is accessible through the Sasa port of Davao City. From Davao City you can choose among the numerous public vehicles to bring you to Panabo City.
