July 3, 2025 – The Inaugural Session of the 10th City Council was held at the Session Hall of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Barangay JP Laurel, Panabo City.
The said session officially marked the beginning of the term of service of the newly elected city councilors.
The event was led by Hon. Engr. Franklin D. Gentiles, the newly elected City Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer of the council, with the presence of City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos.
The following members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod attended and formally took their oath of office:

During their inaugural session, they expressed their continued commitment to the people of Panabo—to provide sincere public service, craft effective policies for the betterment of the city, and support the programs and initiatives of the Local Government.
Matod pa ni City Mayor Relampagos, sa tibuok niya nga tulo ka termino sa panerbisyo nga, “Kini ang pinakauna nakong higayon nga mitambong sa inaugural session sa Sangguniang Panlungsod.”
Mayor Relampagos also assured that his office is always open and that he is ready to listen and collaborate on the proposed plans and initiatives of the Sangguniang Panlungsod members for the development of the city.
