September 1, 2025 — The 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary officially kicked off with a Launching Ceremony held at the Panabo City Hall Lobby. This year’s celebration carries the theme:
“Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan”.
The celebration will continue throughout the month of September, featuring various activities that recognize the integrity and dedication of public servants—our modern-day heroes.
In her message, CSC Davao del Norte Field Office Director II Ruby A. Española emphasized that the occasion is not only a time to look back and reflect on the past but also a call to focus on building a better future for public service.
She added, “Let us continue serving with PUSO — a heart that truly cares for the people. Let us also serve with DANGAL — a character that upholds integrity, and with GALING — excellence that ensures quality and efficiency in everything we do.”
Acting City Mayor Hon. Franklin Gentiles also delivered a message, highlighting that the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal at Galing para sa Bayan,” reflects the true spirit of public service. “PUSO represents genuine concern for the people. DANGAL stands for integrity and honesty. GALING embodies skill and continuous growth to further improve the quality of public service,” he shared.
Meanwhile, Executive Secretary Jo-Anne Relampagos-Capuyan expressed her gratitude to all city employees for their unwavering dedication, describing them as the “heartbeat” of Panabo’s progress.
The event was attended by department heads, assistant department heads, section heads, representatives from national line agencies, city employees, and invited guests.
The activity was spearheaded by the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), under the leadership of City HRMO Officer Jan Mari Cafe, MBA.
