November 11, 2025 – The proposed resolution by City Councilor Josie Mary “Boss JM” Relampagos to reinstate the Hospital Billing Assistance in the LGU Panabo was approved by the 10th City Council under the leadership of City Vice Mayor Franklin D. Gentiles.

During the 19th regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Panabo, as the Committee Chairman on Social Services, Councilor JM Relampagos presented Proposed Resolution No. 307-109, Series 2025, which pertains to the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City Government of Panabo and private hospitals for the implementation of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) Medical Assistance in Crisis Situations (Hospital Billing Assistance).

The three (3) private hospitals in the city that will accept referrals from the LGU Panabo are:
- Rivera Medical Center, Inc.
- Cainglet Medical Hospital, Inc.
- Good Shepherd Hospital Panabo City, Inc.

Furthermore, the approved resolution has been forwarded to Mayor Jose E. Relampagos for the formal approval of the MOA with these hospitals.

In addition to the proposed resolution, Councilor Relampagos also delivered a privilege speech regarding the provision of aid to the people of Cebu who were affected by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake and Typhoon Tino, by delivering relief goods to the region.
