CELEBRATION OF THE 13TH BINULIG FESTIVAL IN PANABO, SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The week-long celebration of the 13th Binulig Festival in the City of Panabo, held from October 6 to 12, 2025, was successfully carried out under the theme: “Good Deeds for Nature, Strengthening Panaboans.” The festival featured various activities including dance, skills, beauty, and cooking competitions, all showcasing the talents and creativity of the people of Panabo.
On October 12, 2025, the official closing of the 13th Binulig Festival was held at the Panabo Gymnasium, beginning with a Thanksgiving Mass led by Rev. Fr. Jeremy N. Tanong, Parish Priest. During the ceremony, winners of the different competitions in the Binulig Agri-Village were also announced.
Despite the challenge brought by a strong earthquake, it did not hinder the successful conclusion of the celebration. According to Vice Mayor Franklin D. Gentiles, continuous prayers for protection from calamities should be offered to the Lord.
“The success of this entire festivity is rooted in our theme. It proves that through our good deeds and the integrity of our leaders, we can surely achieve progress and the future we are working for,” VM Gentiles added.
In the message of City Councilor Josie Mary “Boss JM” Relampagos, city officials expressed gratitude to Mayor Jose E. Relampagos for his leadership and to the people who participated and took part in the Binulig Festival.
One of the highlights of the closing celebration was a free concert featuring OPM male artist Rob Deniel from Santa Rosa, Laguna.
The event was also attended by First Lady Josephine G. Relampagos, City Councilor Omar Ranain, government employees from both local and national agencies, various stakeholders, and guests.
