The City Information Office of LGU Panabo was recognized as the Most Friendly Social Media Advocate during the 2024 Gawad Ulat Award – Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan (PaNata Ko sa Bayan) with the theme “Bawat Pamilya ay Mahalaga sa Bagong Pilipinas,” held on March 27, 2025, at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City.

The Panabo City Information Office Facebook Page earned the award, which was personally received by City Information Officer Michael Angelo A. Resueño and City Administrator Pedrito Misoles. The plaque was awarded by Merlinda A. Paragamac, RSW, MSDA, Director III / OIC-Regional Director of DSWD Field Office XI; Mia Dulce Corazon V. Monesit, OIC Assistant Regional Director for Administration; Florentino Y. Loyola Jr., Assistant Secretary of DSWD; and Gemma D. Dela Cruz, OIC Assistant Regional Director for Operations.

This award serves as recognition of individuals, organizations, groups, and local government units who provide valuable support to the department in fulfilling its mission of improving the lives and providing better opportunities for the poor and marginalized sectors of society.
