September 15, 2025 – In line with the celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme: “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan” (Every Public Servant, a Service Hero: Heart, Honor, and Excellence for the Nation), the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), led by City HRM Officer Jan Mari Cafe, conducted a Competency-Based Learning Program during the PRIME-HRM Dialogue Series held at the City Hall Lobby, Panabo City.

Competency-Based Learning and Development is a systematic approach to identifying performance gaps or deficiencies in knowledge, skills, and behavior among employees. Through this process, appropriate learning interventions are designed and implemented to enhance employees’ capabilities for more effective and efficient work performance.

Assistant City Administrator Brenda A. Sauping also expressed her deep appreciation to the participants of the activity, which included department heads, LGU Panabo employees, and clients with ongoing transactions at the City Hall.
