August 29, 2025 โ The Department of Education (DepEd) Panabo City Division, led by Schools Division Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, PhD, CESO VI, officially launched PanabOlympics Season 4 at Panabo City National High School.
The PanabOlympics is an annual event organized by DepEd Panabo that showcases the talents and skills of teachers โ not only in educating the youth but also in the field of sports. The event also serves as a platform to foster camaraderie, mutual respect, and unity among personnel.
Highlights of the opening ceremony included a Zumba dance exercise, hoisting of the event banner, relay lighting of the friendship torch, and the Oath of Sportsmanship.
Four (4) teams composed of participants from the Division Office, School Heads, and Non-Teaching Personnel will compete in various games:
- Blue Thunders
- Green Avengers
- Red Phoenix
- Yellow Titans
The event was graced by City Councilors Emeterio Blase and Fortunato Sumampong, along with representatives from the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte.
