The opening program of the 2025 Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, themed “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond,” was warmly welcomed by the youth of Panabo. The event was spearheaded by the Panabo City Youth Development Office (PCYDO) through OIC Lester John Bulfango and held at the Freedom Gym, Parks and Plaza, Barangay New Pandan, Panabo City on August 18, 2025.

The program showcased various competitions such as Bayle sa Kalye (Street Dance), Yugyugang Kabataan Panaboanon (Zumba Competition), Spoken Poetry, and the presentation of the Little City Officials.

In support of the youth, the following officials attended the event: Vice Mayor Engr. Franklin Gentiles, City Councilor Hon. JM Relampagos, Executive Secretary Jo-Anne Relampagos-Capuyan, and SK Federation President Julienne Angel Capuyan.

Bayle sa Kalye (Street Dance)

• Champion: Tribung Madyaw Dance Artist
• 1st Place: Makahari Dance Ensemble
• 2nd Place: Tala ng Norte Ensemble

Yugyugang Kabataan (Zumba Competition)

• Champion: Barangay Kasilak
• 1st Place: Barangay Malativas
• 2nd Place: Barangay Kauswagan

Spoken Poetry

• Champion: John Marco Radaza & Reymark Rosenas
• 1st Place: Adrian James Pingot & Marlou Cotillon
• 2nd Place: Mark Anthony Tag’s Tidoy & Jema Delantar
