August 26, 2025 – In line with the celebration of the 34th Anniversary of BJMP Region XI, City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos was awarded a Plaque of Recognition for his strong support of the programs and initiatives of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
The recognition was received on his behalf by City Councilor Hon. JM Relampagos, who accepted the award as a Special Awardee. This honor affirms the commitment of the Local Government of Panabo, under the leadership of Mayor Joe, to uphold peace and order and promote a harmonious way of life for all citizens, regardless of their social status.
During the same event, the City Health Office was also awarded a Plaque of Merit in recognition of its significant contributions to the agency and the community. The award was received by Assistant Department Head Dr. Earnie Pangilinan.
The celebration carried the theme:
“Matatag na Serbisyo, Patnubay sa Tunay na Pagbabago” and was held at the Grand Agila Hall, Waterfront Insular Hotel, in Lanang, Davao City.
