The Panabo City Sports Festival 2025 successfully concluded after three (3) months of various sports tournaments, marked by a grand Culmination Program held at the Panabo City Gymnasium on December 21, 2025.
The event formally opened with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Jeremy N. Tanong, followed immediately by the official Culmination Program celebrating the achievements of athletes, coaches, and organizers who contributed to the success of the festival.
On the same day, the Cheerdance Competition 2025 was also held, featuring six (6) participating teams from different areas in the Davao Region. The competition showcased energy, creativity, and teamwork, with the following teams emerging as winners:
- Champion (₱50,000.00) – Madayaw Cheer Revolution Cheetahs
- 1st Runner-Up (₱30,000.00) – Proactive Cheer All Star
- 2nd Runner-Up (₱20,000.00) – Cheer Cubs All Star
- 3rd Runner-Up (₱10,000.00) – CDC Falcons
All participating teams received a ₱5,000.00 consolation prize in recognition of their dedication, effort, and participation, ensuring that no team went home empty-handed.
In addition, the championship games for three (3) categories of the Basketball Tournament were held at the Freedom Gym in Panabo City, adding more excitement to the festival’s culmination.
City Sports Coordinator Ryan Jay Requidan was present during the event, showing his strong support and leadership in the continuous development and promotion of sports programs in Panabo City.
