March 27, 2025 – The Panabo City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) received two prestigious awards during the “Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan (PaNata Ko sa Bayan) 2024” with the theme “Bawat Pamilya ay Mahalaga sa Bagong Pilipinas”.
They were awarded:
- Gawad sa Makabagong Teknolohiyang Panlipunan – Best New Social Technology (1st Place)
- Gawad Serbisyong Mahusay – Persons with Disability Sector Category (1st Place)
The awards were officially presented by Merlinda A. Paragamac, RSW, MSDA, Director III/OIC-Regional Director of DSWD Field Office XI; Mia Dulce Corazon V. Monesit, OIC Assistant Regional Director for Administration; Florentino Y. Loyola Jr., Assistant Secretary of DSWD; and Gemma D. Dela Cruz, OIC Assistant Regional Director for Operations.
Representing Panabo City and receiving the awards were City Administrator Pedrito A. Misoles, MAED, DST, and Chareina Joy A. Lacuin, MSSW, RSW, CSWD Officer, during the awarding ceremony held today, March 27, 2025, at Apo View Hotel, 150 J. Camus Street, Davao City.
These awards serve as recognition of the department and its dedicated individuals for their outstanding work and high-quality service to the public.
The awarding ceremony also served as the culminating event for the 74th Anniversary Celebration of the DSWD, honoring local government personnel across Region XI.
