The Local Government of Panabo, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), conducted a Capability Development Seminar (CDS) for Barangay Employment Assistance Desk (BEAD) focal persons on August 13, 2025, held at PCGEMPC – Annex, Barangay J.P. Laurel, Panabo City.

The seminar aimed to equip barangay focal persons with knowledge, experience, and skills to effectively guide jobseekers in their respective communities, and to further expand employment services from both national and local government agencies.

OWWO II Herman C. Sab discussed the various services and benefits available to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families. He was one of the resource speakers who presented the key programs and services offered by OWWA for Filipino workers.


Meanwhile, Senior Labor & Employment Officer Jennylyn M. Rosalinda introduced the DOLE programs, which include livelihood support, worker assistance, and employment promotion. Labor & Employment Assistant Glory Grace R. Trinidad provided updates on PESO programs catering to jobseekers, the youth, and career guidance initiatives.

The activity was spearheaded by PESO Panabo, under the leadership of PESO Manager Cherelle B. Espinosa, MBA.
The event was attended by representatives from the BEADs of various barangays across the city.
