August 11, 2025 – Ferdinand Dela Merced, known as the Philippine Looper, made a stop at the Local Government of Panabo City as part of his ongoing walk across the entire Philippines.
Dela Merced began his journey from Batanes to Jolo with the ambitious goal of setting a Guinness World Record as the first officially recorded person to complete a walking loop through all the provinces in the country.
He is currently en route to Davao. Upon his arrival in Panabo, he was personally welcomed by City Administrator Pedrito A. Misoles.
