The Panabo police, led by Chief of Police PLCOL Dexter R. Cuevas, joined the celebration of the 124th Police Service Anniversary by viewing the live telecast from the Philippine National Police Command Center on August 12, 2025. The event featured a presentation on police operations nationwide, including the 911 PNP Service Guarantee.

In a post released on social media, the PNP reminded the public with the message: “You no longer need to look for us at the stations, because we are now on your phones—dial 911 and we will be there within 5 minutes.” This was in line with the directive of Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Nicolas D. Torre III, who proudly cited Panabo Police as a model of swift response in addressing criminality.

A video presentation showcased PNP operations that reached a total of 153,609 from July 1, 2022 to August 10, 2025, resulting in the arrest of over 190,568 individuals. These operations also led to the seizure of illegal items amounting to PHP 54.6 billion. This achievement reflects the PNP’s continuous efforts to eliminate the root causes of drug-related threats, particularly among the youth.

The actual ceremony was graced by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who personally awarded medals to police officers recognized for their service, particularly the Medalya ng Kagitingang Gawa.
