The activities for Binulig Festival 2026 officially began with the Sashing Ceremony for the candidates of Hiyas ng Binulig 2026, held at the Panabo City Hall Lobby on August 26,2026.

During the ceremony, Executive Secretary Jo-Anne Relampagos was present and delivered an inspirational message to the candidates. She also expressed her appreciation to the parents for their continued support and encouragement of their children’s participation in the event.

Also present was Hiyas ng Binulig 2025 Maxine Tiongson, who inspired and showed her support for this year’s candidates through her presence.

A total of 15 candidates will compete for the Hiyas ng Binulig 2026 crown, representing various barangays of Panabo City.

More exciting activities are lined up as part of Binulig Festival 2026, including the much-anticipated Hiyas ng Binulig pageant.
