TRAFFIC ADVISORY | Alveo Ironman Davao 70.3
The 2nd Alveo Ironman 70.3 will commence on March 24,2019 Sunday. On that day, roads via Davao City-Tagum City and vice versa, are temporarily closed (Not passable to any vehicle) from 3:00AM to 12:30PM.
For Panaboans, please take note that there is no Overpass thus no one is allowed to cross the Daang Maharlika Highway on those times same as last year.
Alternate roads to and from Davao City: Cabaluna St. to Brgy. Little Panay to San Isidro, Bunawan to Mahayag,Bunawan to Cabantian, Buhangin.
To Tagum City, use the Tagum-Panabo Circumferential Road to Carmen-Santo Tomas road.
At 10:30AM, the Southbound Highway will be open for two-way traffic.
Our traffic unit will be posting road signs for direction. Please plan your travels ahead or use the alternate routes or change your travel schedule for your convenience.
It is also highly encouraged for the Sunday schools, business and religious sectors to be updated on the preparations of the Ironman event as not to impede your activities.
For LET and other exam takers scheduled on March 24, we will inform you if there is an arranged transportation assistance.
An Executive Order of the City Mayor will be released within the week as official document needed for your company/organisation/
