Panabo City placed 3rd for its ratio of Local Source Revenue to Total Current Operating Income & In Local Source Revenues for FY 2023, during a ceremony in the Island Garden City of Samal on December 4th 2024.

Functional City Anti-Drug Abuse Council

The City Government of Panabo was recognized as 2024 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Awardee by National Anti-Drug Abuse Council of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), obtaining 70% in the ADAC Performance Audit.

Functional City Peace and Order

The City of Panabo demonstrated an exemplary performance in implementing its Peace and Order, earning a score of 94.75% in the POC Functionality Audit during the 2024 Regional Performance Audit.

Outstanding Local Youth Development Council

The Panabo City Youth Development Office gave an outstanding performance and initiatives for the youth and was awarded as 2024 Outstanding Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) in National Level during PANGANDOY: The 2024 National Youth Convention in Batangas Province.

Rank 9 Outstanding Local Civil Registrar’s Office National Level

The Panabo City Civil Registrar’s Office provides an excellent service, securing the 9th Place for Outstanding Local Civil Registrar’s Office (National Level) out of 214 Local Civil Registry in the 2023 Outstanding Civil Registry Offices.

Subaybayani 2024 Awardee

The City Government of Panabo was among the SubayBAYANI 2024 Awardee for demonstrating excellence in terms of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.

2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Passer

Panabo City bags the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Award by the Interior and Local Government (DILG), based on ten (10) governance areas in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 11292, also known as the SGLG Act of 2019.

First Class Component City 2025

Panabo City has been officially reclassified to First Class status since January 1, 2025, following the provisions of Republic Act No. 11964 (Automatic Income Classification of LGUs Act) and Department of Finance Order No. 074-2024.
