SEARCH FOR 2018 HUWARANG PAMILYA OF PANABO CITY

In relation to 2018 Family Week celebration, the CSWDO of Panabo City formally opens the 2018 Search for Huwarang Pamilya of Panabo City. We are now looking for new family ambassadors of Huwarang Pamilya of Panabo City who are worthy of recognition and emulation. The activity aims to recognize exemplary families and children to showcase their stories of hope and resiliency.
A. Mechanics of Search for Huwarang Pamilya of Panabo City
1. The SEARCH is open to all PANABOAN families who meet the qualifications prescribed;
2. Any individual agency movement or group, public or private may nominate;
3. The interested families/ and/or agency movement/group must fill – up the entry form;
4. The entry form and the bid book must be submitted not later than September 7, 2018
5. The family must consist of a father and/or a mother and child/children;
6. Nominees must have good standing in the community with no derogatory records, whose income do not come from gambling, prostitution, child labor, extortion and other similar illegal resources and most importantly 100% compliant to all government programs and laws;
B. Desk Validation Criteria
1. A family where the husband and wife have demonstrated love and respect for one another (25%)
Indicators:
a. Recognizes that a Supreme Being is at the center of the family
b. Accepts each other’s individually and personal worth
c. Communicates openly
d. Practices self-control, presence of mind and support for each other in the face of crises
e. Demonstrates support and pride in each other’s achievement
2. A family whereby the parents demonstrates their love and respect for their children (25%)
Indicators:
a. Ensures a family environment that provides the following
a1. Spiritual nurture and basic values
a2. Basic material needs
a3. Education and health care of their children
a4. Guidance appropriate to the children’s capacities
a5. Proper advises on matters affecting children’s development and well – being
a6. Supervision over children’s activities including their recreation
a7. Preparedness for children’s formal schooling
3. A family where the children have love and respect for each other and to their parents (25%)
Indicators:
a. Recognizes that a Supreme Being is at the center of the family
b. Accepts each other’s individually and personal worth
c. Communicates openly
d. Practices self-control, presence of mind and support for each other in the face of crises
e. Demonstrates support and pride in each other’s achievement
f. Shows love and respect for elderly
g. Manifest clean words and thoughts
h. Has develop self-reliance among its members
i. Has distinguished themselves in their job and profession, be it academic or non-academic
j. Has taken pride in their chosen job, profession with dignity either academic or non-academic
4. A family who has involved itself in community affairs (25%)
Indicators
a. Shares time, talents and treasures to uplift the mental, physical and spiritual well-being of the members in the community
b. Participate in the community projects
c. Support all government programs and laws, and
d. Participate in all religious activities where they belong
C. Documents Needed
1. Valid Marriage Contract (PSA)
2. Birth Certificate of children
3. Nomination Form filled up by nominating body (e.g,. Brgy. Council/BCPC/others)
4. Endorsement letter from nominating body with a brief justification for the choice of the nominee
5. One reference letter from their membership in religious and community organization
6. Citation of community service as a family in the parish and barangay
7. Bid Book (Family Story and Family Pictures with clippings)
Declared winner will receive Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000.00) as cash prize, personalized plaque, personalized family picture as token of appreciation.
Ten participating families will be declared as consolation prize recipient for the said search will also receive a certificate of appreciation and grocery pack worth Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 2,500.00) as token.

OPLAN PAYO to address the increase of gangsterism and CICL in the Province of DavNor

On August 15, 2018, the City of Panabo headed by Mayor James G Gamao, represented by CIO Michael Angelo Resueño, with Peace and Order Chairperson City Councilor Hon. Wahid Ranain, Ms Khan Quieta of CSWDO, and the support of barangay captains committed to join the “OPLAN PAYO” which is an initiative of the Provincial PNP Director P/Supt Alan B Manibog supported by Board Member Shirley Belen Aala, Chairperson of Peace and Order in the Sanggunian Panlalawigan.

The OPLAN PAYO is a strategic program that aims children development and empowerment, against gangsterism and children in conflict with the law. The PNP Province has recorded an alarming number of cases involving minor aged individuals who have engaged in criminal activities. A six year old theft was the youngest to have recorded.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the same date with the PNP, Moral and Spiritual Corps of Ministries, Department of Education, and TESDA to form activities and programs that enable to address such issues with children, along with providing necessary interventions for reform.

The activity was held at Panabo National High School in the presence of DavNor, municipal, and city officials.

Nagpatawag ug joint committee hearing si Hon Dizon Namuag sa Committee on Tourism and Trade kauban ang Committee on Transportation ni IPMR Hon Datu Ariel Macla karong adlawa August 14, 2018 human ni gihangyo ni IPMR Datu Macla sa iyang privilege speech adtong Regular Session sa Sanggunian August 6, 2018.

Sa privilege speech ni Datu Macla, nakita nga dakong problema ang paghimo o pagfabricate ug tricycle sidecars sa pipila ka shops. Sa pagka karon, usa lang ka shop ang adunay permit as registered na Assembler of Sidecar sa Panabo matod pa sa representante sa Business Bureau.

Tungod niini, ang duha Ka Committee, inubanan ni Hon. Mawe Pamisaran, maghimo ug Ordinansa “to regulate the production of sidecars” nga adunay possibleng probisyon nga taason ang regulatory fees ug pagdungag og penalties batok sa mga illegal sidecar production.

LATEST | City Health Office programs, recognized as one of the best in the Province of Davao Del Norte

August 14, Mayor James Gamao, duly represented by CIO Michael Angelo Resueño, ABC President Hon Condrad Matutino, and City Health Officer Dr Algae Rose Sumaoang Hechanova were awarded and recognized by the Province of Davao Del Norte during the DavNor Health Summit as:

1. The 1st LGU in the Province to create a Comprehensive Anti-Smoking Ordinance;
2. Malaria-Free Zone in Year 2017;
3. a 2017 SPECIAL AWARDEE for excellence and incomparable performance as 2nd Place Regional Level in the National Search for Barangay with Best Sanitation Practices.
