The City aims higher for Tourism Development: talks on Zip Line, Food and sport amenities, and Tourist-friendly Banana Production sites.
July 24 2018 | Ends the 2-day Orientation on Local Tourism Development Plan for the City of Panabo. We identified good locations that we can develop especially in the coastal and upper land areas. Tourism Head Cher Bastida with the help of DavNor and National tourism offices facilitated the planning.
What plans are we talking about? A better boardwalk area at JP Laurel complete with amenities and zip line. Mariculture Park is also a target of attraction with food that can only be tasted in Panabo.
Since our City is dubbed as the “Banana Capital of the Country”, a tourist-friendly set up to view banana production is highly expected. Of course, tourism would not be complete without the presence of sports facilities and gourmet specialties. All of these will be in the City soon!
The activity was attended by City officials and employees, along with partner agencies (Dr Rey Gulane of Panabo Coop, Tricycle Federation President, DepEd Asst Superintendent Sir Andayan, Barangay Captains of Mabunao, JP Laurel, San Pedro and Cagangohan).
