“PC69 exposure details are under investigation due to the travel history sa Davao City and exposure pud sa usa ka positive patient,” says Assistant City Health Office Dr. Eranie Pangilinan during his interview on the Ang Panabo Karon on Radio 91.1 on October 2,2020 with the City Information Office. This pertains to the recent symptomatic COVID-19 positive patient in the city who went to three establishments on September 14 and September 22,2020.

Dr. Pangilinan mentioned that they have already retrieved the names of possible exposed individuals through the QR code system and the logbooks of the establishments. However, the health official discovered that some clients did not write their details on the logbooks upon entry. This was before the strict implementation of the QR code scanning.

He said, “Dili complete ang mga details gibutang. Naay names, naay address pero walay number.” This caused the CHO to send personnel to the barangay to look for the identified individuals. “Unta mag comply ang mga establishments na mag QR coding or kung mag log book, with complete details ipabutang.”

Employees of Gaisano Grand Panabo and Tagum Cooperative-Panabo branch were said to have complied with the health protocol such as the observance of physical distancing and the placement of barriers. “Sa ilang employees, walay naka isolate kay naka barrier sila and naka physical distancing. So far, walay mga symptoms,” mentioned Dr. Pangilinan.

Today, PC69 is in stable condition and is still in isolation at the Davao Regional Medical Center, Tagum City. Dr. Pangilinan also said that PC69 was wearing face mask and shield when she entered the establishments.

If an individual is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have entered those establishments on the identified times and dates, contact the CHO COVID-10 hotlines at 09516534364 and 09064400650.
