Hulyo 26,2021 — Gipahigayon sa Lokal nga Panggamhanan ang unang Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) Meeting sa Panabo City Gym aron mahisgutan ang pagbalhin ug pagpahimutang sa 91 ka pamilya nga apektado sa Mindanao Railway Project sa Department of Transportation. Namugna ang LIAC pinaagi sa Executive Order No. 45 series of 2021 ni City Mayor Jose E.Relampagos.

Ang Sub-commitees nga namugna mao ang a.) Social Preparation and Relocation, b.) Resettlement Planning and Implementation, c.) Beneficiary Selection, Arbitration and Award, d.) Site Selection and Developement, ug e.) Livelihood Planning and Implementation. Nagkalain-laing ahensya sa gobyerno, mga pribadong ahensya, ug mga opisina sa LGU ang nabutang sa namugnang sub-committees.

Sumala pa ni Special Project In-Charge of Special Housing Project Cielito N. Miano nga importante ang kooperasyon sa mga miyembro sa LIAC tungod usa ni ka pamaagi sa mas paspas na pagpangita og luna sa relokasyon. “Gapaningkamot ang joint inspection and validation team nga makapangita na og area nga qualified sa (standard) sa Department of Transportation,” dungag pa ni Miano.

Nagsalig usab si Atty. James Adam S. Zozobrado, Head sa Right-of-Way Aquisition sa Department of Transportation, nga mahimong episyente ang mga plano sa LIAC lakip na ang sub-committees niini nga matukod ang proyekto nga dili ma-agrabyado ang mga apektadong pamilya. Ingon pa niya, “This collective body will arrive in an efficient resettlement aspect of the Mindanao Railway Project.”

Atol sa meeting, anaa sina City Administrator Pedrito A. Misoles isip representante ni City Mayor Jose E.Relampagos, Chief Corp. Atty of the National Housing Association XI Atty. Sonny Paul R. Cirunay , Division Cheif DHSUD-XI Adriano Po Jr., Chief of Police PltCol Atty. Verna Cabuhat, mga city government department heads nga miyembro sa Panabo LIAC, mga kapitan sa barangay nga apektado sa maong proyekto, mga representante sa ubang ahensya sa gobyerno, mga representante sa Non-Government Agencies, ug mga personahe sa City Housing Section.

Laoman nga masugdan na ang relokasyon sa tuig 2021.
